1. Information We Collect

AffirmGate does not require account creation or personal login details (such as name or phone number). App preferences and blocked app settings are stored locally on your device.

To support free features, analyze app stability, and process subscriptions, AffirmGate uses trusted third-party services that may collect non-personal device information and usage analytics.

2. Accessibility Service Usage

AffirmGate uses Android’s Accessibility Service solely to detect when a selected (blocked) app is opened and display an affirmation screen before allowing access.

AffirmGate does not read personal content, monitor browsing history, record screen activity, or transmit private app usage content externally. All accessibility processing occurs entirely on the device.

3. Subscription & Billing

AffirmGate offers optional premium subscriptions through Google Play.

Payments and subscription status processing are handled securely by Google Play Billing and RevenueCat.

AffirmGate does not store credit card information or payment details.

4. Advertising & Analytics (Third-Party Services)

AffirmGate integrates third-party services to deliver ads and improve app performance:

• Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements to free users. AdMob may collect and use device advertising identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID), cookies, and network location to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. You can reset or opt out of personalized ad targeting via your Android device settings (Settings > Google > Ads).
• Mixpanel: Used for anonymous usage analytics (such as screen views and feature usage) to improve user experience and stability.
• RevenueCat & Google Play Billing: Used for managing digital purchases and subscriptions.

These third-party providers process data according to their respective privacy policies.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your custom affirmations, selected categories, and app block choices are saved locally on your device using secure Android storage mechanisms.

6. Children’s Privacy

AffirmGate does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect app enhancements or legal requirements. Updates will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
